2. Data we collect
Access requests: the work email address you submit on our website. Account data: name, work email, company name and authentication data when accounts open. Service data: monitoring configurations you create (URLs, check settings, alert contacts such as phone numbers of on-call engineers), incident records and logs your systems send to the Service. Usage data: technical information generated when you use the website and Service, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide and operate the Service, including running checks and delivering alerts (performance of a contract); to manage access requests and contact you about access (your consent, which you may withdraw at any time); to secure and improve the Service (our legitimate interests in running a reliable product); and to comply with legal obligations applicable to us.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers acting on our instructions, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and SMS and voice alert gateways, and with authorities where required by law. A current list of subprocessors is available on request at info@pulseguard.limited.
5. International transfers
Our probe infrastructure operates in multiple regions worldwide, and our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.
6. Retention
Access request emails are kept until access is granted or you ask to be removed. Account and service data are kept for the life of the account and deleted or anonymised within 90 days of account closure. Log retention within the Service follows the limits of your plan. Records we must keep by law are retained for the legally required period.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Requests: info@pulseguard.limited. We respond within the timelines required by applicable law, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong.
8. Cookies
Our website uses only cookies necessary for it to function and basic, privacy-respecting analytics without cross-site tracking. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls and logging. No internet service can be guaranteed absolutely secure; we notify affected customers and authorities of personal data breaches where required by law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page and, for account holders, by email before they take effect.
